3. No two people walk the same. Adjust step counter sensitivity if needed to improve walking tracker accuracy

Important Note:
Some phones can’t count steps if the screen is off or locked. We try hard to support as many phones as we can. If these steps don’t solve your problem, your device could be the issue. Email our support and we’ll work hard to get your step counting back on track.

Very impressive response to my inquiry about how the app updates the count on the screen, which recently changed. The app now uses the Android Recording API and updates the on-screen count every 3 seconds if the app is open. Or it updates the notification every minute while running in the background. They explained that this improves battery life and gives more stable and accurate counts.

I unfortunately needed this app to compete in a challenge set forth by my work place. Oh look, a step tracker app that won't let you connect watches unless you pay. That was strike one. Strike 2-200 was when, after 13 straight days of hitting over 10,000 steps, I open the app (which I have done daily) to see that the 13 points I'd had yesterday was down to 10. And no amount of syncing or rearranging step data sources would get them back. I even tried the trial to connect my fitbit, nothing.

A truly excellent tool. It has served me by tracking what I do in being active without intending to be, motivated me to remain active when I thought it'd be hard, and helped me achieve what I would have never thought to even attempt. It really is amazing how far a little encouragement and personal accountability goes! It can help change a person's outlook a lot in great ways.
