Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) treatment is a type of psychotherapy — or talk therapy — that utilizes a cognitive-behavioral approach. It began with efforts to treat borderline personality disorder (also known as Emotional Instability Disorder). DBT has been conceptualized as a treatment broadly applicable to individuals with difficulties regulating emotions. Empirical evidence now supports the use of DBT adapted for eating disorders, substance use disorders, and PTSD.

I'm bummed. I tried it for a couple of weeks and then bought the premium version, only to find out that it doesn't work properly. It won't let me adjust settings, due to a permissions issue (my phone has given it all permissions). It won't save my daily check ins and I don't receive the reminders. I've emailed customer support and have not heard back. Will not be renewing the subscription. I don't even think the app is being continuously updated but the creators are still taking the cash.

This seems like a good app to use, but it bothers me a lot that 80% of its features are behind a paywall. I should be able to use at least the basics and I can't. Honestly, you're better off printing off free DBT worksheets and carrying them around with you when you're triggered instead of paying $10 a month for an app.

Great idea, poorly executed. Too many problems to make it worth the money. Tried contacting support, but no reply. Pros: skills well-explained. Diary card feature easy to use. Some issues: -you have to sign in every day. A barrier for accessing skills, for me -push notifications don't work; never got my scheduled diary card reminders or affirmations -the process to refer back to the worksheets you have done is very clunky -riddled with typos
