It looks like a nice interface, but the app is unreliable, often failing to sync and stalling. It offers no substantive advantage over using the website. Instead of just getting email updates that prompt to visit the website, I get the email, and an app alert as well. Tapping on app alerts frequently loads the app, which either stalls, or opens my web browser, which re-opens the app, which re-opens the browser, where I can finally read whatever the message was.

I don't have a problem with Kickstarter so much as I'm just really disappointed in this app. The search function only shows me campaigns that ended (sometimes years ago) and no matter which browsing tab I go to, the app only shows campaigns that already have thousands of backers. Yes, even the 'newest' tab. I'm genuinely surprised this app is as well reviewed as it is. Feels like I'm missing something, because it's really just not usable to me.

This app is terrible. Up until about a week ago, I'd view my "backed projects" or "activity" area, and it would be blank. I could just close the app and reopen, and it would show the information. Annoying, but there was an easy fix. Now, it will not load at all. And I can't back projects anymore either. This renders the app useless.
