About this app

MyClayElectric is our free mobile app that gives members fast, simple access to their accounts, allows them to securely pay their bill, and provides a number of other valuable tools to help them monitor and manage their energy use and costs. Members can view current account balance and due date, manage automatic payments, switch to paperless billing and modify payment methods. They also can track previous electric use and costs. Clay Electric Cooperative is a member-owned, not-for-profit electric power supplier, democratically organized and controlled by those it serves. Headquartered in Keystone Heights, Florida, the electric co-op is one of the largest in the United States. The co-op’s Mission is “To exceed the expectations of our members by providing excellent customer service and reliable electric service at competitive rates while maintaining the financial stability of the cooperative.”

Nice but lacks easy totals..I can see vague graphs of use etc but not useful totals or numbers to use. How can I add up a bunch of bar graphs and determine usage and generation? As if 5/17/21 still no totals of usage is showing. Perhaps I am missing something but a total on each page would be extremely useful. I am starting to wonder if it is kept intentionally vague ???

Not long ago when I tried to make a payment, I waited an unusually long time to get a confirmation #, so I closed the app, went back in and tried again. The 2nd time it went through, and I received a confirmation #, but noticed a couple days later on my checking account the pmt went through twice--creating a financial hardship. I had to wait until after the weekend to call a Clay Electric office, and they refunded the 2nd overpayment, but it took 3 days to receive.

So far so good! Fast and accurate. Not thrilled that I had to create new access and save my payment information again with no warning, but I do like that I still have access to my payment history and it was easy to update everything. Thank you for creating such a fantastic app! 😊
