Lots of great features! This app has almost every feature you could think of. The only one is like to see is "pin to top". UPDATE: So they added "pin to top". 🙂 I temporarily had to look for a new SMS app, but I wanted to come back to Textra. Fortunately it all worked out and I did! I can now tell you with authority that Textra is the ONLY texting app that allows you to set a preference for "Mobile numbers only". Why would I ever want any other kind of number for texting? Textra is GREAT!!!

UPDATE 3/16/25: Textra is still the best. I've used it ~3 years and love the features, UI, and reliability. ORIGINAL MESSAGE: I'm very happy with Textra. It has the must-have delayed delivery, plus many other features. The developers are very responsive to operational questions. 8/3/23 UPDATE: Textra is still great. It has a lot of features and style options. I like that new features don't change how I use only basic features. I don't have to change with updates to the app.

Using this app for years. Still my favorite UI quickest app for sending and receiving messages. Love I can access it from drop down menu. However was wondering if it would be able to receive RCS. I don't like Google message app as much because of interface, but it receives much higher quality videos and photos from android to apple. Will RCS be in an future updates? It's tough getting small photos and videos all the time nowadays.

The RCS interfaces (APls) on Android are currently only available for Google internally to use, no other third party developer has access. We are hopeful Google will make these RCS interfaces available in the near future to all developers (in the spirit of Android open source), so that Textra SMS can also offer RCS functionality.
