I miss many Grandpad phone and video calls - even though my smartphone is in front of my face, or in my lap. There is a notification, but it's not displayed visibly on top of the screen. Also, there is no vibration, so I end up missing a lot of calls . . . : -). Follow-up on my review... Thank you to the Grandpad team for helping me adjust my smartphone settings. My problem was simple. My volume was muted, and so i couldn't hear the phone ring. LOL! Five stars plus for Consumer Cellular!

Flutter Along
Thank you! We're so happy we gave our parents a Grandpad, added profiles for all family members, loaded their fav music, and taught everyone how to use it. We each use the app on our phones to video or voice call, send messages, and share photos. We update our own contact info. It's been a blessing to our parents with the isolation of COVID. It's so easy and intuitive for them to use. It's also very safe from outside emails, calls, and texts. It's just our family world in there, and we love it!

I got the device to share videos, pictures & etc. with our elderly parent since the smart phones aren't as user friendly for older individuals, not as secured and can be very confusing. It proven to serve as more. A 3rd option of contact when issues began with the cordless phone, helped with the COVID-19 isolation and more. I only wish the monthly fee was more economical because there are multiple features which were either not needed or wouldn't be used by my elderly parent. Highly recommended
