Paid a LOT for a potentially useful item - it's just not ready yet. Rarely syncs properly unless I bump the side of the wave plus with my phone. So many gaps in the data I can't trust any of it. And this is for potentially health threatening information. That's why I spent so much on it. Now every time I sync it says there's a firmware update. Did that 4 times. Seriously unhappy about the entire thing so far. If this were a $50 device it wouldn't be that big of a deal but this was over $600!!!

Airthings customer service is horrible. If your device goes haywire like mine did, they ask for you to spend 30 day test periods repeatedly so that your warranty and return period expires. I have 2 of them and on one, the radon detector portion went suddenly and unbelievably high. (9+ when it had been consistently in the 1 to 2 range for a few months) The other sensor at that location disagrees. They have no returns process listed, and have no intention of ever honoring any warranty.

App simply doesn't work. In one year, it lost history data and was unable to synch with their cloud many times. The device issues the loud audio message "welcome to Airthings" every few hours disrupting silence. After one year of usage I had to reinstall the app and remove and reintroduce my device which resulted in loss of one year of history. It's not worth your $200. This product should be recalled. Update: The company admitted the issue and sent me a new unit which introduced bigger issues.
