About this app

MySudo is the all-in-one privacy app with private and secure phone numbers, handles, email, browser, and more. MySudo lets you make standard and encrypted voice, video and group calls; send SMS and encrypted messages and email; and privately browse, all via secure digital profiles called Sudos. Use your Sudo details instead of your own. Your personal information is safe since you haven’t shared it — we won’t even ask for a username or password to set up MySudo.

Create up to 9 Sudos for everything you do: shopping, socializing, online selling and more.

Finally, a privacy app with the lot:

Sudo handles – Use for end-to-end encrypted messages and video, voice and group calls with other MySudo users.

Sudo email addresses – Email anyone, and if they’re a MySudo user too, your emails will be end-to-end encrypted.

Sudo phone numbers – Get working phone numbers in locations of your choice, with customizable voicemail, ring tone and contacts. Call or message anyone. Sudo-to-Sudo calls and messages are end-to-end encrypted.

Sudo-to-Sudo comms – Connect with other MySudo users via voice, video or group calls and text, with unlimited messages and minutes.

Sudo private browsers – Use the private browser in each Sudo to search the internet without ads and pop-ups. The browser blocks ads and tracker cookies by default, and lets you compartmentalize your browsing by Sudo.

Coming soon*** Sudo virtual cards – Use your virtual card instead of your personal credit or debit card to check out and pay online. Protect your privacy, stop tracking, and limit your financial risk.

MYSUDO LETS YOU:

Ā· Search the internet without ads and pop-ups using the private browser.
Ā· Call, text, and email anyone without giving up your private details. And if they use MySudo too, voice, video and group calls, email and messages are end-to-end encrypted.

SO MUCH PRIVACY PACKED INTO ONE APP:

Ā· No personal information like email or phone number to create an account
Ā· No registration login or password to access the app
Ā· End-to-end encrypted communications with other MySudo users
Ā· Built-in decentralized identity technologies

Not sure if related to a recent update, but I suddenly have problems sending messages to other Sudo users that are online. It will show them typing to me, but just shows my messages as "sending..." for hours at a time, regardless of my network. Phone calls have also been spotty, and often auto hang-up when I try to answer. Finally, for a privacy focused app, there sure are a lot of dependencies on Google Play (payments & notifications)

Great concept, BUT execution leaves much to be desired. Paying via Google was ALMOST A DEAL BREAKER. When another service offers NO KYC & better payment options, I'll be switching immediately! I only use this for the VoIP's. I'd like to use their virtual cards all the time, BUT the fees are too much to justify regular use. Plus, the app doesn’t have DARK MODE & the UI is clumsy. The home screen dropdown "reminder" to link contacts, setup virtual cards, etc. is a nuisance!

This app sucks! I paid $14.99 for the 9 number plan, but after I created my first number, it says I've reached my email limit and have to upgrade plan. I try to restore purchase on the settings, but that doesn't fix it so I try to contact support, but I keep getting an error message that says sorry, unable to connect to email, try again later. This has happened at least 5 times now with different accounts I've set up on different phones with this app. What do I need to do?

What’s new

It’s a nuisance when a message fails to send, but it’s worse when you don’t know why. So, in this release we’ve added a clearer error message for when something goes wrong.

Now, in the unlikely event your message can’t be delivered, we’ll tell you what happened and what to do next.
