I've been using PayPal for over 20 years and have never had any problems. Until recently. it seems like since the last update I no longer get notifications on my Android phone. I do get email notifications but it's not the same as getting an instant notification on the phone when somebody sends me money. I have verified notification settings on the website and within the app and everything looks good. if I uninstall PayPal app and then reinstall, I will get notifications once then it stops.

Update: I upgraded my review as I updated the app. Turns out the menu button wasn't working either and the update helps! Still a bit cluttered and I can't figure how to remove a card. Why is this so difficult to use? It takes me about 10 minutes to figure out where to find my "wallet." I find the layout very cluttered and not user-friendly, and am fairly tech knowledgeable. I'm no wizard, but I can find my way around apps fairly easily. Not this one. Once I do, it works well.

The worst payment app I've ever tried to use, by far. Incredibly buggy. The menu button doesn't work, the QR code button doesn't work, adding a card or bank account doesn't work. Finally fixed the bug that was preventing me from deleting a payment method, 2 years later. You'd think a technology company like PayPal would have the whole app design thing down, but their platform is awful.
