CANNOT upgrade to the $1.99 paid version. Google sure took my money with no problem to add to the Play Store but when I try to pay to upgrade the Calculator it constantly tells me I'm not in the United States - I AM! I try again and again... then it makes up another excuse saying I am not connected to the internet via wi fi or cellular - I AM! Complete and I am COMPLETE waste of time, I checked for all updates on phone, restarted phone after being turned off for 10 minutes, tried everything.

This app should not be free. Not only is it an amazing calculator with layouts for the TI-30 and TI-34 so can use the same layout you are used to, it has tons of math formulas built into the app for easy referencing. There is a single $1.99 purchase that gives you tons and tons of features including arbitrary equation solver and so much more. You can tell the developers really care about making an amazing app for students, or anyone who need a great calculator on their phone.

Let's keep it real, engineers are not using handheld apps to design structures. There are some obviously fake reviews here, parents saying how great it is for their kids... Purchased as a tentative look to see if it does TI-30SX correctly. It does. The K feature is labeled Op. Otherwise identical to real thing. Lots of youtube insight. It ADDS features like graphing and formulas which which will eliminate this from collegiate exams, but phones generally not allowed there anyway.
