I have been asked 3 times to turn on notifications. I DO NOT WANT NOTIFICATIONS. It is ridiculous that programmers can't accept that. I signed up for ranked games and apparently there aren't any players. The AI is decent, but not exceptional. In the 2 games I played I was against terrans each time and they never upgraded to their Planetary Institute in either game, basically the widely accepted best opening for Terrans. The AI seem to choose random options too often over good options.

Gaia Project is one of my favorite board games. Not too heavy to learn but almost endless replay value. The UI is very well done. Font is a little small on mobile, but fortunately you can zoom in the map or look at parts of the board individually. The colors don't always match the faction though, and some are close in appearance and hard to differentiate. The icons of the planet types on the left of the screen definitely need to be bigger. Would be nice to have light mode.

Takes some getting used to with all of the information on screen, but this has been a good implementation of a complex game. I really appreciate the addition of the planning mode, where you can brainstorm your next move and save it for optionally using it later. It's a little slow to load and sync games, and it generally requires manually refreshing, but it's not a big deal. The game is somewhat intensive, leading to heating up and battery drain in long sessions, but it's better with HD off.
