With advances in tech, cloud storage should be cheaper, larger, & easier, not smaller, more expensive, & more difficult. Especially when you pay $140-$170 for a frame, it should all be included. Now Nix decides to just change their terms? What started as a great idea, has now become a money grab. Don't waste your money on this, especially when shared cloud storage exists and apps that can broadcast pictures to your smart TV, for a more reasonable price, you probably are already paying for.

Bait and switch. Frames sold with specific benefits advertised on the box are now being moved to a paid subscription model. Frames that we purchased are now held hostage for basic features unless you start paying money. You will never own your frame, only rent it. Features and pricing may change any time and with little warning. I used to get them for family members so I could share family photos. I will never buy another one.

Very clunky app experience; can't enlarge images to preview them before uploading to frame, and it's also difficult to reorient them before upload. Oh, and the company just took away storage from those of us using the free subscription plan. Which in the grand scheme of life is a simple annoyance... but ay. Way to make an already-marginal product even more useless, Nixplay.
