It will only connect maybe 25% of the time when I open it. Nothing has to change, but if I wait a bit it sometimes connects. The troubleshooting never changes whether it will connect or not. I submitted a support request weeks ago and haven't gotten a response. I really love the light but the app is absolute garbage.

Hi Sara, it's unfortunate to hear about this issue. Could you please unplug your modem and router, wait 30 seconds and then restart your modem first followed by restarting the router? Love the device + features but the app is terrible. At least once a week I have to reconnect the app to the wifi & about once a month reset & then reprogram all my detailed alarms. Recently it's been out for 3 days and I've spent over an hour trying to reset & reconnect it following every instruction but ending up going in circles. SUPER frustrating, especially since I love the healthy sleep routine it's helped me with. If the bugs don't get fixed I'll return & try another sunrise alarm clock.

Not sure what changed but the app is stuck forever in the "connecting" phase about 80%-90% of the times I want to use it. It's NOT my Internet, and uninstalling and reinstalling the app is such a pain because I have to reconnect everything. I bought the more expensive clock specifically for ease of use with the app, but it often just doesn't connect. When it does, the app is ok, but it's just such a pain to use. The alarm clock itself is poorly designed and hard to program without the app.

Sorry to hear about the connection issues, Erin. Please remove the power plug from the Somneo and insert it back after 5 minutes, turn WiFi off/on again via the Somneo display and, if the issue persists, try a factory reset.
