We've enjoyed a number of guests and visits through Home Exchange and find it generally a very helpful app through which to search and communicate. However, if you need to communicate with HE, good luck! Home Exchange set the value of our home at 243 guest points per night. I raised that to 273, which was my right, because we wished to entertain fewer requests. Home Exchange UNILATERALLY, WITHOUT CONSULTATION dropped the value to 181 guest points and has given me no reason for that change.

HE in its latest iteration has greatly improved access to appropriate homes for our selection. However calendar access is frustrating. It is not so intuitive to read when people are offering their homes, especially when you want to book more than 6 months ahead.

Overall the app is very well designed and easy to use. However, sometimes it is not easy to understand what is wrong when you fail to do something (for instance failing to pre-approve an exchange and figuring out after a while that the number of guests was not indicated...). In those cases it would nice to have the app displayed error messages to guide us.
