Created an account without issues, and have been using it ever since - the majority of online services in Estonia support this app as a login method. Its very fast and convenient. After 2 years of using the app, it had never failed me, did not have any issues so far. Keep in mind that if you have Blokada or something similar, it will block app notifications, so you would need to whitelist the domain that Smart-ID uses.

after inputing all the bank details only then it checks for latest release. And surprise surprise, had to reepat the process all over again because update check wasn't first thing on a list. Also, when pressing ok and next on tutorials pop up, nothing showed up. Edit: It's 2023, and it's still garbage, impossible to register on a new device. Each option fails, or leads to some web forms that require sketchy plugins (that also don't work), as well as leading to removed youtube videos

Very annoying, have to go to the bank each time I change my phone since Smart id would not let me transfer the thing. I don't get it, why don't just allow users to verify themselves via other means instead of going to the bank? Then there's biometric verification which does not even work... Myabe its just my passport?.. | Other than that it usually works. Not always thought- even with all the notifications turned on, battery saver turned off and etc. Smart id would not pop up when I need it.
