Useless - nearly. The website is much better, easier to navigate, search products, everything. BUT, if you want to get your Amazon Prime discount, you absolutely must use the app. Certainly immoral if not illegal. Recommendation: download the app, log in and link your phone number to your account, then delete the app. Now you can enter your phone number at the register for your discount - but you absolutely can't do the number linking through the website and they can't do it for you in store.

I love having this app but have a regular issue when opting to view weekly sales. When selecting "load more" items at the end of the first page, the next page is so large I can only see the first column. What's the point if half of the items are hidden from view! Very frustrating. Happens like every other week or so. 4/16/25 edit to say that I un-installed and reinstalled the app and it's still happening almost every time. I can't see half of the sale items!!

The app is obviously not well optimized on Android. I have a Pixel, one of the easiest devices to target, and theres a black bar at the bottom of the screen. Also, any time you navigate to a new section of the bottom bar, the app acts as if it is opening an entirely new page.
