I tried it but I'm skeptical that it is showing the actual FPS...mine never moves from 60FPS. Even the best devices will have a small fluctuation here and there. REPLY TO REVIEW FROM "JBR": no, FPS isn't how many times your phone refreshes. FPS is the number of frames per second that your graphics processing unit is outputting. The higher the FPS, (typically) motion appears much smoother. The refresh rate is the number of times in one second that your display is refreshing with a new frame.

The app works perfectly well. I feel bad because all of the reviews are from people saying that "I had 63 fps when my screen only supports 60". Don't hear them, fps and refresh rate are 2 completely different things. Fps are the amount of times your phone "updates" in a second while the refresh rate is the amount of frames that are visible through the screen. If one is capped it doesn't mean the other one is too.

WARNING FOR ALL NEW USERS!!!! After this false test this app will change your screen ratio making everything on your screen appear at the top left in a small box, if 0 stars was a thing I would give it that. Just don't waste your time cause resetting your screen display is by restarting your phone
