To use the features of this app, other than the most rudimentary, you'll have to subscribe. It's an incredibly expensive subscription and it's pretty much blackmail, as you already bought their very expensive mattress and pod, so you'll probably want more than the absolute basic in the app. Truly appalling money grab. This app and all it's features should be free forever for the purchasers of their pod. Even if you resell it! To Eight Sleep: remove the subscription service now!!!

NEEDS AN APP WIDGET FOR ANDROID!! I've had this for a few years and am generally satisfied. The membership is expensive, which makes the fact that they can't rollout an Android widget very disappointing to say the least. The process of opening the app to adjust the bed is very annoying and disruptive to your sleep. Watch compatibility for the app would also be a great feature that is NOT present. Not worth the membership until some of these features are added

Just purchased the eightsleep and was stuck in an endless loop of the WiFi not being connected to the hub. However, the moment I restarted the process with my Apple work phone, everything worked without a hitch. It's like they've bricked the android experience or something. Pretty disappointing for a $2k+ purchase that requires monthly subscription fees for an app that won't work on my android phone.
