AMC A-List isn't just the best deal in entertainment, it's one of the best subscription services of any industry. The only problem is that it spoils other services in comparison and makes you wonder how the rest of entertainment is dropping the ball. The app is great. It's detailed, it's layered, and navigation is so easy. Trailers, ratings, reminders, and perks at every level of membership. It's almost as if these guys know what they're doing. AMC really does make movies better.

The app has a bad problem if you have a favorite location saved. Even when you choose a new city your favorite location shows first in the list BEFORE the local theater. This leads to you selecting a show for the favorite location instead of the local option. They should put the local site first or have some kind of warning telling you you're booking a movie 798 miles away. Lost out $40 because of this poor design.

Will not let us check out on either phone. Tells us we are "not authorized to view this order," then has our selected seats reserved when we go back and try to restart the order. It is literally impossible to use the app. That's when it will actually start. A lot of the time, the app won't even start. So, we end up going to Cinemark, which we don't even prefer, just because we are unable to check out with AMC. This app is unusable and really needs an overhaul.
