Most of the features of this app don't work with my MFC-L2715DW which is connected to my home network with a CAT 6 LAN cable. My android phone detects the Brother device, but cannot print or scan with it. Tried various settings on the machine itself, settings via the Brother web interface, and settings in my router, including a reboot of the router. I was unable to update the Brother's firmware using the network, but I did successfully flash the firmware with a laptop and USB cable.

This app used to be the cat's meow for Android users. It used to be reliable and easy to use. That was a few years ago. It's now March of 2025 and this app is essentially useless. Despite a complete factory reset of my Brother MFC-L2750DW, a painful reset of my wireless router, software and firmware updates, and attempts to connect automatically and manually, this app rarely works. Brother tech support merely goes by scripted responses. Extremely disappointed.

This app does NOT work at all! I'm trying to scan pages and have never been able to do so. I'm unable to download this app to my PC; it's only on my phone. Now when I open the app it only goes to all the licensing nonsense, and no further. As if it's frozen in licensing. IT WON'T SCAN, NOR GIVE ME A CLUE AS TO HOW TO CONNECT!
