I love this app, but it only gets four stars because of a very annoying glitch! I changed the setting for the area where I wanted notifications from the world to the United States. The app won't make the switch, so I am getting a notification every 5 to 10 minutes on average. I will have to read 52,000+ notifications a yesr. There are 2 or more earthquakes lyear. each time. That's 105,000+ earthquakes a year on earth! Fix that setting, please! EDIT- I tried your suggestion four times. No Go!

On the Settings screen, tap Monitoring Region. Select your preferred region on the map. The notifications will only be for this region. If this method does not resolve your issue, please clear the cache or reinstall the app.

Android devices with official Google Play services have an Earthquake Alerts function. (Go to your device's Settings, and search for Earthquake Alerts.) Check if this function is available in your region. If it is, enable it. Consider using Google Play's Earthquake Alerts in conjunction with the Earthquake Track app.
