Set it up yesterday. The setup was a bit painful to connect my new ProTerra hybrid water heater. Had to set "stay connected even when no Internet" for the econet wifi network during setup. Connected to my dedicated 2.4 GHz network because of the warnings about incompatibilities with dual band Wi-Fi networks. (This might be why so many people are having issues). So far, it works pretty well. I'm able to control temperature, mode, and see usage.

The screens don't update in real time. You need to go back to the device selection screen, then select your device again to get up to date info. A feature to add would be showing the actual temperature of the tank while it's heating, not just target temp. Other than that, it's a pretty nice app. Gives me some good insight into the status of the water heater. Edit: The one feature that makes this app really worth it is the usage reports. They only render 10% of the time and it hangs the app.

I've been using this app for nearly 2 years now. I do like it and the ability to control my water heater. But the energy usage reports have gone downhill. Since it can't export data, I have to manually enter it to a spreadsheet. The 24-hour usage report format sucks. Instead of giving data for a specific date, it does what it says, the immediate 24 hours from when you open that app. Plus, the date range is incorrect at times, like giving data for tomorrow though it's not...tomorrow.
