This series is so fun and interesting! I do feel like this game in particular had a good mix of easy and difficult puzzles, though a few puzzles felt kind of nonsensical. Some of the "battles" didn't really work for me, despite me doing exactly what the instructions said (i.e. tapping the circled that appeared) so I had to skip those. I enjoyed the continuation of the storyline from the previous games, and I'm looking forward to the next installment!!

So far the best one besides from the first in the series and ready to take on #6. I really like the addtional cultural takes that doesn't need base characters to understand. I also like the puzzle logic this time around where it was a good mix and not wholey dependent on rote memorization for those unfamiliar with chinese script (not being familiar and deciphering unclear calligraphy was a massive headache in 4 and 3. I also like the midpoint twist in the story.

An intriguing storyline and fantastic puzzles. Some puzzles rely so heavily on cultural context that a hint is needed, but this time you only need to watch 1 ad instead of multiple to mine coins. The mini-games were easily the worst part because they were clunky and tedious, especially the incredibly long battle at the end. If they had checkpoints for longer ones and a little longer reaction time, it would be much less frustrating to progress. Definitely designed toward PC over mobile.
