I purchased the 40$ a year plan and so far I like it. But it does get reparative and once I learn all the words I'm going to cancel my subscription. Also, during most of the "other vegetables" section there is a clear change in voice actress and it kind of throws you off. Also, in the sweets and spices category it says the word "pimentón" while showing a picture of pepper and the spelling "pimiento", Drops definately needs to fix that. People are paying for this app ya know.

It's ok as a supplement to some more serious study. You will not get grammar or pronunciation explanations. It's vocabulary and short sentences--that works for me, but beginners could be confused. This is Mexican Spanish, which seems to have some slight differences in pronunciation than the Latin American Spanish I did in high school. Pronunciations are sometimes too fast. Sometimes wrong (EX: they say "una" when the word begins with "la") undecided if I will continue this app.

I feel I'm having a lot of success with this app, knowing everyone learns well in different ways. This app works for me. There is plenty of repetition to help with memorization, the articles are included, and my favorite is they don't continue to supply the english words/translation which I find very helpful. I dont want to learn in terms of translation, I want to learn the Spanish via visual association. This app does a wonderful job of just that. 5 stars.
