I've played a Similarly styled game galled Tower of Winter. This hits all the right spots of "spontaneous" organic story telling and "Building from the ground up" in every adventure. Keep in mind, you will die many times, but a "Fate" type system ensures that repeated runs ensure long term "growth" even after numerous runs.

It is a fun, cyberpunk-esque text adventure. You play as a character navigating 6 levels and 15 different instances, ranging from fights, NPC interactions, and supply stores. You have a main attack, various skills, and stats that determine your experience. The only thing I don't like is you have to watch ads if you don't want to change the options to something else, which happens frequently endgame. I also wish you received diamonds upon a completed run.

This game gives you almost the same sense of agency as a Choose Your Own Adventure story. It's just a plotless, characterless series of random events that you can't control with very few options. The writing is often incoherent. Some of the art is decent though, and the interface is clean enough that I enjoyed it for about twenty minutes.
