TP-Link Tapo

I was very happy with my tapo camera at first, video quality is great but the tech is VERY flawed. It stops recording when there is still motion, the beta geotracking doesn't work so you have to record all the time or remember to turn it on when you leave & even using the cloud it randomly will no longer record so you can't ever count on it to be working. I haven't changed anything and am literally jumping up and down in front of the camera and I can see myself but it won't record. Disappointing

Good app and cameras. Better than the Arlos I had. More responsive and good app setup options. The downside is that you can't give your camera/motion notifications custom tones like you can with other providers. Have to use my custom notification for text messages. Sharing with family members is limited. No option to allow them to turn off cameras. No camera off-line notifications. Cameras don't really work with Google home, but work with Google Hub.

I'm really impressed with the Tapo security system. Researched both through Amazon and independent sites. Tapo had great results. Bought two. Easy to set up and install. Picture quality good. Both cameras have been in location for 3 days, and there's been hardly any battery used. Use SD cards for storage, so there is no cost for cloud storage. Would definitely recommend and are good value for the price.
