A game so good I bought it twice. It's a card building roguelike with its own identity. Easier than spire at a baseline and feels more like a sealed deck run instead. That's in part due to the design differences. There are 4 characters, each with 3 variations on starting deck that push you in different directions. Then the game is balanced around drawing to a fixed hand size, while maintaining energy. This lets you choose when to hold cards freely, or turn cards into energy to bank for later.

Good game. Just like; StS, dawncaster, Rogue Adventure, in that there are unique classes, and intricate level board with pretty cool original features (planning a path! So cool). 3 Stars cause finishing a run doesn't feel rewarding. There's no class upgrades, or perks to carry forward. You just rinse and repeat. It would be nice to implement some kind of progression through class upgrades/buffs, or even earning fixed relics of some sort. It just feels kind of stale. But it's super fun!

I absolutely love this game! It is very similar to StS but I feel it has improved on that style. It gives you more control over each run. All 4 of the characters are good though they play very different from each other. My major complaint with this game is the difficulty balancing. When selecting difficulty you have intro, normal, hard, impossible & impossible+. I have successfully completed around 50 runs on normal yet not 1 on hard, 6 attempts so far. Normal is too easy, hard is too hard.
