easytether quit on me so I tried this. worked with no effort. is it spying on my computer now? Who knows. but it works perfectly so I paid for it. a little buggy. the connect and disconnect option is backwards sometimes in it's function and it won't go faster than 40mbit even after paying tho my phone has 500mbit speed. but at least it works in win11 first try every time.

Well, it works. On the other hand I have to uninstall and reinstall the Windows client app everytime I want connect or it won't detect the phone...

pdanet is probably safer, it only had one red flag while this had seven. many strange pop ups came up that never came up with pdanet. I'm going to investigate the client app further
