I used to use Thunderbird on my desktop way back. On my phone I used GMail for years. Thunderbird is SO MUCH better! It's small. It's fast! It's open source. It's actually deleting when you select to delete which was a problem with the Gmail app where emails would still be there when I check the account on the computer later. I am so glad my favorite Thunderbird is now on Android! Thank you!

New issue w/ emails not downloading. Noticed a couple weeks ago but it is becoming more frequent. Sometimes it's 24 hrs before an email will come through in app that does come through on desktop. When out and relying on phone this is a big problem, especially w/ 2FA. Addl ssue w/ unified inbox not showing email from all accounts. Sent an email to support and received a response that they can't respond to emails. Useless.

We're so sorry this is happening, and while we're working on improving sync, this isn't the experience we want you to have. And we can help you on our official support site, which you can get to via Settings > Get Help. You can open a question with details like your providers, and we can help troubleshoot it there.

UI is nice & clean, push notifications work like it's supposed to, but polling doesn't work at all. No matter what interval I set for the app to go out & get mail it won't do it unless I manually refresh the app. This really needs to be fixed because I don't need the app to constantly be checking for mail, just every 30 minutes or so. Having push on all the time is eating away at battery life.
