Magic Lantern

I bought a whip light for my service truck. I have a few other RGB style lights on my 4x4 and on the apps for those, allow you to customize colors and settings (fade, pulse and strobe) on this it's just customize the color off the color wheel or pick a preset. it would be nice to have a custom movement option. but in all the app has way more setting then what comes with the remote and the whip is very bright.

just finished putting this cheap light together, grabbed the app and after force closing a few times, I got the light connected. the good news is that the app works! the bad news is that it minimally works! custom static colors only. number of presets implies the dynamic patterns are on the board, not in app. good luck getting music working. ui is high school project levels of amateur. app crashed as I was writing this review. get what you pay for, I suppose!

It doesn't have many options for lighting, you either get solid color, or one of the app presets, and all of the app presets are quite jagged, there are no gradients, even though there are presets named gradient, they are actually strobes that fade in and out, and the music setting only allows preselected songs, not songs you wish to sync to, and so far I haven't found any alternatives for the light I'm using, so my cool led cube became a massive disappointment.
